6 Ways Taxes Will Increase for CEOs

President Obama’s recently-released budget for 2013 relies heavily on tax increases, many of which will directly affect CEOs. Employers will be paying an additional $147 billion in taxes and will be required to pay taxes in their foreign markets as well as at home. Why would an American company bring back money to invest in our own country when it’s much less expensive to do so overseas?

Only 11% of CEO Time Spent Alone on Work

According to a study by LSE and HBS, CEOs on average spend one-third of their work week in meetings and just under 11% (six hours) working by themselves on projects. While 18 hours is a significant portion of time to be spent in meetings, the study doesn’t differentiate between types of meetings. So what exactly is this survey saying?
