Position reports to: Chairman of the Board.

Job responsibilities:

  • Advisory Board Member
  • Participation in constructing a strategic plan
  • Developing an annual operating plan consistent with the strategic plan
  • Achieving results as outlined in the annual operating plan
  • Human resource planning, staff development, and enforcement of company policies and procedures
  • Add-on acquisition management
  • Regulatory compliance

Required work experience:

  • Ten plus years of diversified oil field service experience
  • Three plus years of senior executive experience
  • Responsibility of various business disciplines
  • P&L responsibility
  • Staff development

  • Directing a family dominated business
  • Transitioning from a family run business to a professionally run business
  • Private equity transaction

The First National Bank of Minersville, with over $84 million in total assets, is seeking highly-qualified candidates to serve as the Banks President and Chief Executive Officer. Established in 1864, The First National of Minersville is one of the oldest community-based financial institutions in East-Central Pennsylvania.

Prospective candidates should have 20 years or more of senior-level retail and commercial banking experience, preferably with a strong community banking background and understanding of the current financial services industry. As the lead management executive, the President and CEO shall have primary responsibility for the effective and active management of the overall business of the Bank, and is most responsible for ensuring the Bank’s reliable financial reporting, effective operations and servicing, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and protection of the Bank’s asset’s and reputational value. The President and CEO is specifically responsible for the quality, effectiveness, and organization of the Bank’s senior management and staff, including those responsible for accounting and financial reporting, lending and credit processes, operations and information technology, compliance, wealth management and trust services, and for related internal control and risk management programs. The President and CEO should have exceptional interpersonal skills as he/she shall be responsible for maintaining the strength of Bank personnel,as well as promoting positive community and business relationships.

The selected candidate will work with the Board of Directors and other members of senior management to set and administer the overall strategy for the Bank. In addition to providing leadership and direction to the Bank’s employees, the President and CEO is expected to be active in the community-supporting economic development and non-profit activities.
