We are seeking a CEO to lead a small public company. The focus of the position will be to find suitable acquisition candidates, negotiate transactions and integrate the acquisitions into the existing company, as well as raise additional capital through private placements.
The successful candidate will have previously been a CEO as well as have a background in finance and/or functioned as a CFO.
Compensation, commensurate with experience, will be in the form of cash, performance-based bonus, and warrants/options in the company.
Location: Youngstown, OH
A Youngstown, OH-area start-up software company has engaged TSP Executive Search Group to help them find, recruit, and hire a CEO to help provide executive direction to this rapidly growing business. We are looking to have this person on board in early February 2013.
The company has developed software which will be sold and implemented at hospitals and healthcare companies, corporations, and educational institutions. They already have several letters of intent from large organizations and a high level of interest from others.
We are seeking someone that can provide the executive operational, technical, and sales leadership to secure and grow the company nationwide. The CEO will be leading the company’s expansion efforts through business development, funding generation, IT leadership, and staffing. We desire to find a leader who is willing to acquire an equity stake within the company. We expect qualified candidates will have:
a background in IT sales leadership,
sales experience to hospitals/healthcare companies
the ability for fundraising capital to propel and sustain growth until sales
a strong working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
The CEO position, like at all start-ups, demands commitment and skin in the game. Being able to bring in funding initially is critical to the success of this start-up. If you’re not willing to wear multiple hats and do what needs to be done, then this position isn’t for you. The rewards for successful C-level leadership will be proportional to the benefits provided.
There is no relocation assistance for this position. We prefer to find candidates within commuting distance of Youngstown, OH.
