Constance R. Dierickx, Ph.D.

Constance Dierickx has been providing consultation to Boards of Directors, senior executives and investors in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, for nearly 20 years. Clients range from companies in the Fortune 50, start-ups, privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations. Constance works with executives and directors to improve the effectiveness of their organizations by clarifying strategy, increasing alignment, creating metrics to improve performance, managing CEO and C-level transitions, resolving conflict, and responding to debacles.

Publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Chief Executive, Chief Financial Officer, Directorship, Boards and Directors, Board Alert, HR Magazine, and People and Strategy, have sought her perspective on events in the public eye. A frequent speaker, she is described as dynamic, pragmatic, and relevant.

Constance joined RHR International Co., in 1998, and is a practice leader in CEO Succession and Board Effectiveness. Previously, Constance was a consultant at the Medical College of Georgia, where she completed her residency. She provided consultation to departments of both the Veteranís Administration Hospital in Augusta, as well as the Medical College of Georgia. During the 1980ís she was a retail broker at Merrill Lynch where her clients included wealthy individuals, companies and not-for-profit organizations.

Constance received her bachelorís degree, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. While an undergraduate, she conducted grant-funded research in the area of psychology and the law and earned recognition as a compelling presenter. Her Masterís and Doctoral Degrees are from Georgia State University where she studied both Clinical and Organizational Psychology. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Consulting Psychology, and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She serves on the board of directors of the Board of Directors Network and is listed in Whoís Who in American Women.

Constance is married to Michael Dierickx, a Certified Financial Planner, and has two adult daughters. She is incurably curious about many things, but in particular anthropology, physics, and culinary arts. Inexplicably, she is also a fan of boxing.
