Dave Bozeman

Senior Vice President, Caterpillar Enterprise System Group, Caterpillar

Dave Bozeman is vice President of the Integrated Manufacturing Operations Division (IMOD). IMOD is the single largest division within Caterpillar, employing approximately 21,000 individuals. The division’s reach extends over five continents and 25 facilities. These facilities manufacture product lines with heavy ties to Caterpillar’s mining industry.

Since joining Caterpillar Inc. in 2008, Bozeman was the general manager for the Specialty Products Business Unit. In 2009, the Caterpillar Board of Directors named Bozeman vice president of the Core Components Business Unit. And in June of 2010, he was named vice president of the Integrated Manufacturing Operations Division. 

Bozeman joined Caterpillar in October of 2008 from Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where he was vice president of Advanced Manufacturing responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of advanced manufacturing technology. In particular, he was the manufacturing voice at the concept phase of product development, which included directly supporting the product plan and manufacturing objectives on cost and flexibility.

Bozeman, a Chicago, Illinois native, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Mechanical Design from Bradley University and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Outside of his participation on the Executive Leadership Council, Dave is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation Board of Directors. He also serves on Bradley University's Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Advisory Board.
