LOOKING TO 2030

While still recovering from the 2023 wildfires, Hawaii pushes on. The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii recently released the 2030 Blueprint for
Hawaii, which identifies six areas of opportunity: military and defense, tourism, maritime, agriculture, small business and business services. The blueprint aims to raise the state in rankings for metrics like taxes and cost of living.

“Today I am here to report that—although we have faced great challenges and suffered even greater loss over the past year—we have come together as one ‘ohana’ to recover and to heal…. I am here to report that the state of Hawai‘i is strong.”
