Stephen M.R. Covey, Author, The Speed of Trust and Trust & Inspire

Our world has changed, but our approach to leadership has not kept pace. The challenges surrounding Hybrid Work is a case in point. Most leaders and organizations continue to take a “command & control” approach—one that relies on traditional positional power, hierarchies, motivation, micromanagement and compliance—and employees aren’t having it. People are creative, collaborative, and filled with potential, but today are over-managed and under-led. To draw out performance at the highest level, Trust & Inspire leaders bring out the best in others, and get their very best in return. They do it on purpose, as a matter of course. In this session, NY Times & Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Stephen M. R. Covey, will show us how—in a way only an experienced CEO and business practitioner can.

The pandemic has upended everything about the workplace, but by far the biggest challenge facing leaders is not technology, innovation, or even leadership: It’s engendering a culture that readily finds, develops, and engages the right talent to thrive now and in the future. All of which has been made much more complex thanks to the seismic changes involving hybrid work.

This session will dig into innovative thinking about employee engagement and inclusion as how, where, and why our work undergoes a radical transformation. Learn how to create experiences where employees can cross-functionally connect and collaborate, to drive innovation, employee engagement, higher retention, and belonging.
