The State Policy Reports’ 2017 Index of State Economic Momentum ranked Nevada first, based on three key measures of economic vitality: personal income growth, employment growth and population growth. The Silver State had the strongest personal income growth in the nation on a year-over-year basis, carried the third highest employment growth rate and was the fastest growing state in the nation.
