While it could ideally move faster, Rhode Island is inching forward on the road to post-Recession recovery, with a 1.8% GDP growth rate.
Business owners last year gave their state government an “F” in categories like ease of starting a small business, regulations, tax code, licensing and zoning in a study conducted by Thumbtack.com. Also, the Plantation State is showing signs of structural problems.
