Women in Leadership Workshop

Like a Fine Wine … Crafting a Leadership Style That’s Powerful, Sustainable and Uniquely Yours

Leadership Starts with How You Show Up

Leadership isn’t just about what you accomplish—it’s about how you show up, especially when the pressure is high, the demands are constant, and your role requires more than just results.

This Women in Leadership Workshop offers a rare opportunity to step away from the noise, gain new leadership strategies, and build meaningful peer connections. It’s an investment in yourself—and the way you show up in all areas of your life.

Designed for women in senior leadership across industries and functions, the afternoon blends candid conversations, meaningful relationship-building and a thoughtfully curated winery experience. You’ll leave with practical tools, renewed energy and a clearer sense of what it means to lead on your terms—through opportunities and challenges, through change, and through the choices that define your path forward.

Agenda

Welcome & Icebreaker

1:20 – 2:20 PM

How to Lead with Poise & Power (Even on Your Worst Days)

Dr. Alessandra Wall

Executive Coach, Psychologist, Leadership Consultant, Parent and Wife

Even the most seasoned leaders face days when everything feels off—when setbacks, external pressures or emotions threaten to take the wheel. The difference between those who crumble and those who command respect isn’t luck—it’s the ability to lead with intention no matter what’s unfolding around them.

In this interactive session, you’ll learn practical strategies to navigate your toughest days without letting stress, doubt or reactivity take the reins. You’ll walk away with tools to:

  • Maintain composure and clear thinking under pressure
  • Lead with emotional intelligence—even when emotions run high
  • Turn tough moments into opportunities for trust, growth and impact

2:20 – 2:30 PM

Mindful Reset: Breathe, Sip, Reflect

Like a fine wine, leadership benefits from moments of stillness. This brief pause invites you to reflect with intention—because clarity often comes in the quiet.

2:30 – 3:00 PM

Wine Tasting + Guided Conversation

Leadership, like winemaking, is part art and part intention. This guided tasting isn’t just about what’s in your glass—it’s about tuning into nuance and developing a more refined awareness of what you’re taking in and what you’re putting out. As you sip and connect with your peers, consider:

  • What qualities do you tend to rush past—in wine or in yourself?
  • How do complexity and clarity show up in your leadership?
  • What’s the signature “note” you want to leave behind?

3:00 – 4:00 PM

Saying Yes Intentionally: Crafting a Leadership Vintage That’s Fully Yours

Jen Ford

Advisor and Former Public & Private Company C-Suite Executive

Executive leadership often comes with constant pressure to perform, respond and take on more—leaving little space to reflect on what truly matters. In this candid conversation, we’ll explore how to make intentional choices about where you focus your time and energy, how to stay connected to your values, and what it really looks like to lead in a way that feels sustainable, authentic and aligned with who you are—not just what you do.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • The subtle toll of being “always on” in executive roles
  • How to discern the right opportunities from the shiny ones
  • How to be an authentic leader when your identity is more than your title
  • Why making space for yourself isn’t a step back—it’s a power move

4:00 – 4:15 PM

Final Reflection + Connection

We’ll end the day by bringing it all together—sharing takeaways, exchanging insights and identifying one intentional step you’ll take moving forward. It’s a chance to connect with your peers and leave with greater clarity, energy, and purpose.
