From Space to Quantum: Colorado’s High-Tech Ascent

Colorado has emerged as a powerhouse in aerospace, boasting the highest concentration of aerospace workers per capita globally, and is home to half of the U.S. Space Force. From the nextgen Vulcan rocket to Lockheed Martin’s work on NASA’s Artemis mission, companies in the state are advancing every aspect of space exploration. Since the opening of the new Quantum Commons innovation campus in Arvada, the state has grown as a hub for the quantum industry and now has more than 3,000 workers employed across 30 companies.

“We continue working to grow Colorado’s economy, and the success of workers is a key part of that. Ensuring that Colorado is a great place to live, work and run a business is good for our economy and our communities.”
Jared Polis
Governor
