Electric Growth and Innovation in the Volunteer State

Tennessee’s economy is on a strong growth trajectory and on track to outpace the national average in 2025. Key strengths are in advanced manufacturing and energy innovation, demonstrated by Ford’s EV battery plant and Orano’s $5 billion nuclear fuel
enrichment facility in Oak Ridge. The state is set to meet it’s goal of adding more than 36,000 jobs in 2025, with population growth also outpacing the national average.

“Together, over the last six years, we have recruited more than $37 billion in capital investment that has resulted in 234,000 new jobs. Tennessee is a top contributor to our nation’s economy because of our willingness to adapt and welcome emerging industries.”
Bill Lee
Governor
