Alabama

Ascending in Aerospace and Defense

The aerospace and defense sectors are driving economic growth in Alabama. Huntsville, home to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and Redstone Arsenal, has announced that U.S. Space Command will establish its headquarters there. Alabama also remains a leader in advanced automotive, bioscience and advanced manufacturing and continues to invest in its infrastructure and talent. In 2025, the state invested more than $25 million through the Growing Alabama program, which offers a tax credit for projects that stimulate economic growth

“On this ‘Made in the USA’ Day, we proudly salute the hardworking Alabamians who make our state a true manufacturing powerhouse. Alabama ranks among the top five states for manufacturing job concentration, and that’s the result of strong partnerships, innovative thinking and a tireless commitment to quality.”
