Idaho

A Gem of Growth

Idaho has experienced robust job growth in recent years across the startup space. Small businesses remain key job creators, with labor markets showing steady employment growth and rising real estate values. Ongoing tax relief, workforce development and infrastructure investments are fueling growth. Micron remains a seismic economic driver in the state’s future. After announcing a $15 billion investment in 2022 in a production plant being built in Boise, it recently added another $30 billion to the project for a second facility.

“Our success is fueled by astute financial management, a strong labor market and record-setting personal income. Job postings and hirings show no signs of slow down, with layoffs at their lowest levels in three years....”
Brad Little
Governor
