Global Competitiveness, Local Growth

Georgia is gaining economic momentum with record-breaking trade and investment in recent years. In 2025, the Georgia Department of Economic Development supported 423 facility expansions and new locations with more than $26 billion in investment. Advanced manufacturing and corporate headquarters relocations are driving the surge, as leaders choose the state for its logistics assets, business environment and workforce. Georgia also surpassed $53.1 billion in exports in 2024, an
increase of 6.4 percent.

“Georgia has been the No. 1 state for business for over a decade because of our unmatched ability to attract new companies and create an environment where existing employers can grow and thrive.”
