Building Momentum on the Global Stage

Kentucky is emerging as a growing force in global trade, fueled by several record-breaking announcements and a record year for economic development in 2025. In one two-week period alone in August 2025, companies announced more than $6.3 billion in projects and over 1,000 new jobs in the state. Meanwhile, Kentucky continues to upgrade its workforce through the Bluegrass State Skills, which was on track to train more than 11,700 residents in 2025.

“There isn’t anything political about a good job or a strong economy, and Kentucky is seeing incredible success as we prioritize what’s right and create more opportunity than ever before for our people…”
Andy Beshear
Governor
