BG George Forsythe, Ph.D., Karen Kuhla, Ph.D. and Daniel Rice, MS.Ed
Brigadier General (retired) George B. Forsythe, Ph.D., is a 1970 graduate of West Point, 35-year career Army officer, and retired college president who is now a faculty member with Thayer Leadership at West Point. Dan Rice is President of Thayer Leadership, a West Point graduate, and served as an Army Infantry officer in Iraq. He has been awarded the Airborne Badge, Ranger Tab, Purple Heart and Combat Action Badge. He holds an MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern University, Masters of Marketing from Northwestern University, an MSEd from University of Pennsylvania and has completed his doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania Chief Learning Officer program. He is the co-author of “West Point Leadership: Profiles of Courage” and has published in the Wall Street Journal, Small Wars Journal, and Chief Executive magazine. Karen Kuhla McClone, Ph.D., is Executive Director of Thayer Leadership. She holds an MS degree in Education from Virginia Tech and a PhD in Education from the University of Virginia. Karen worked at GE delivering their leadership development systems and Change Acceleration Process training to healthcare executives, and as Global Program Manager, Leadership Development at GE’s Corporate University in Crotonville.
