Colonel (Ret.) Lee Van Arsdale is a decorated Army hero with a 25-year military career. He served in 3 combat zones; led in Special Operations missions, including the Battle of Mogadishu (later featured in the movie "Black Hawk Down” for which he served as a technical advisor); and earned the Silver Star and a Purple Heart for his bravery in battle. He is also a veteran of the corporate world, including having served as CEO of Triple Canopy and Creative Radicals. Col. Van Arsdale is a faculty member and keynote speaker at Thayer Leadership.

CEO Confidence Falls To Decade Low, But Few Predict Recession

Chief Executive’s June survey of 278 U.S. CEOs shows leading confidence indicator now at 5.5/10, the lowest reading in nearly a decade. Majority forecasts worsening conditions in the year ahead, though not a recession.
