In particular 66% of SME respondents believe that exporting has contributed their growth, and 62% believe that exporting has increased over the last five years.
When asked which countries they would most like to export to that they’re not exporting to now, China far outled all others, with 14% of the response, followed by Canada and Germany, tied for at 11%.
Overall, respondents attribute 9% of their annual revenue growth to exporting.
