Currently lead independent director at Palo Alto-based Hewlett-Packard, Russo is set to take over as chair of the board of directors of the emergent enterprise company, which will be called Hewlett-Packard Enterprise,HP said Monday. Meg Whitman, HP’s sitting CEO, will run the enterprise company as its chief executive. The transaction splitting HP into two companies is expected to close by the end of HP’s fiscal 2015, it said.
