Utah

Booming the Beehive

Over the past year, Utah has demonstrated impressive economic resilience and growth, backed by strategic investments and strong fiscal governance. In June 2025, Moody’s reaffirmed the state’s AAA credit rating, highlighting its economy, minimal debt and excellent fiscal management. Utah’s economy also led the nation in GDP growth in 2024, reaching $300 billion and attaining a 2.8 percent employment growth rate.

“Utah continues to be recognized as one of the best-managed states in the nation because of our commitment to fiscal responsibility and the incredible work of public servants who take that responsibility seriously every day.”
