While activity moderated in subsequent quarters, deployment levels have remained well above recent lows, indicating continued availability of capital and sustained interest in strategic transactions.

The Industrials sector continues to attract interest from both strategic acquirers and private equity investors. Capital deployment increased from $26.7 billion in Q1 2024 to $224.4 billion Q2 2026, representing an 8.6x increase, as buyers pursued opportunities in manufacturing, industrial technology and infrastructure-related businesses. Capital deployment has remained resilient in its march upwards, underscoring ongoing demand for high-quality industrial assets.
