The hospital announced Tuesday the condition of ArrowStream CEO Steven LaVoie has been upgraded to serious from critical condition. Doctors credit his recovery to his excellent health prior to the shooting.
Authorities say the 54-year-old LaVoie was shot in the head and abdomen last month by Tony DeFrances. DeFrances, once listed on the company’s website as the company’s chief technology officer, was meeting with LaVoie to discuss a demotion when the shooting occurred.
